Building in Bend
Bend Soccer Academy was started after founder and director, Steph Meyer, moved to the area with her husband and two little boys only to find that all the soccer programs had waitlists and no availability.
Growing up up playing, and later coaching soccer, she decided it was the perfect opportunity to get involved in the Bend community and also increase access for others to enjoy the beautiful game.
Meet Steph
Born in Indiana, Steph Meyer started playing club soccer at the age of 8, through high school, and then went on to play Division I at Purdue University.
Upon graduating from Purdue, Steph coached West Lafayette High School girls as well as 2 club teams for Boilers FC ranging from ages 12-17.
Steph and her husband Greg moved to Seattle in 2017 where she continued coaching at a local prep high school.
Steph, Greg, and their 2 boys have now settled in Bend and are loving building a community through soccer and all of the outdoor activities the area has to offer.
